Y-Care Before and After School Programs

Overview

The Y's Before/After School program allows children an opportunity to interact with peers in the school setting, explore child-centered areas, experiment with art media, enjoy a nutritious snack, receive help with homework, participate in school directed after school activities, play in the gym, and investigate the indoor and outdoor environment. 

RSU1 and Georgetown Schools - Children registered for care at Huse, Fisher-Mitchell, Dike-Newell, Georgetown, and Phippsburg will swim on one Friday afternoon per month.  Children meet at the school during the week and at the Y on the afternoon of swim day.

Brunswick Schools - Located at Coffin School, this program will serve both Coffin and Harriet Beecher Stowe Schools. Children will be bussed from Harriet Beecher Stowe School at the end of the school day and should be picked up at Coffin School. Each child registered for Y-Care at Coffin will receive a free Youth Membership to the Bath Area Family YMCA.

Hours

Y-Care Before/After School is offered every weekday from 6:30 am to the start of school and from school dismissal to 5:30 pm. There are options for 2, 3, or 5 days per week for Before Care, After Care, or both.
